Lawn Care Programs
Our lawn care programs focused on sustainability, by treating the plant and the soil as one unit. Using organic based bio-stimulants and fertilizers we are able to transform almost any soil type into a productive circular environment. This is good for us and the environment we all share!

Soil Science
Lawn care has come a long way over the past years. Using soil science we’ve been learning new approaches that are more sustainable for our environments and in most cases produce a far better result.

Increase Beneficial Microbial Activity
Working with Mother Nature we’re able to increase microbial activity in the soil reducing the need for synthetic management options.

Aerate Soil Naturally
Adding carbon sources to the soil creates homes for microbiology. Increasing porous spaces between soil particles expands the soil profile allowing root systems to reach potential and increase the soils ability to hold nutrients, water and oxygen.

Fight Harmful Diseases
By focusing on soil health we’re increasing the beneficial bacteria and fungi which in turn helps fight disease naturally!

Grub Management
Using bee friendly products with no signal word fits our environmental stewardship approach. Preventative grub management is a hallmark of maintaining a healthy lawn in our area where grubs destroy acres of turf each year.

Surface Pest Management
Summer pests in lawns increase their activity and destruction to lawns when drought conditions reach their peak. Keeping these pests in check during these stressful times is vital for turf recovery when weather conditions improve.

Organic Based Fertilizers
High salt based fertilizers do not improve soil structure. Over time, soil compaction can increase. By using organic based nutrients blended with stimulants we can keep the life in the soil healthy which will release bound up nutrients and produce a far healthier plant.

Crabgrass Management
Lawns that have high foot traffic areas and high heat areas or lawns that have been damaged by other factors tend to have crabgrass grow in weakened areas. Our crabgrass management approach will reduce the likely hood that crabgrass can take over.

Weed Management
A thick dense turf stand is the best approach to managing broad leaf weeds and other problems. When necessary we will manage these weeds from threatening your lawns health and appearance. We use less 80% – 90% less controls than other companies due to our approaches and technologies we employ.

Professional Diagnosis
It takes many years to understand turf health and identify issues that are normally overlooked. Through our continual training and focused seminars we utilize, we have the knowledge and experience to properly diagnose and create solutions properties need.

Professional Technicians
Our employees are part of our family. We care for each and every one of them. We employ 90% of our staff year round. We feel maintaining the knowledge learned each season is vital for our success. In turn our customers who see the same face each time means a lot!

Alerts When Issues arise
Part of our ongoing training we ensure our technicians have the tools and ability to communicate with you when concerns arise. We believe in communication as it relates to your investment. We want and will keep you informed when issues are noticed.

Thatch is a natural accumulation of dead grass plant parts (stems, crowns, etc.) that form a mat above the soil surface. Contrary to popular belief, it is not the result of grass clippings left on the lawn.
If there is a thin layer of thatch, it creates no problems. If it’s allowed to reach 1/2″ thick or more, however, it can be big trouble for the lawn. For example, it provides a perfect breeding ground for insects and disease. At the same time, it decreases the flow of water, fertilizer, and air to grassroots. Sometimes it promotes rooting in the thatch layer, rather than in soil, causing the lawn to dry out rapidly.
Our thatch digester is applied during the summer months, it stimulates a natural “breakdown” of the thatch by harnessing microbes in the soil. After treatment, they go right to work eating and composting the dead plant material that makes up the thatch layer. Also, it produces a flush of color and growth by releasing nutrients that were unavailable to your lawn. Further building the humus layer in the soil.
Soil compaction also affects lawns.
When soils are compacted, the movement of air, water, and fertilizer to the grass root zone are limited. Making it difficult for a good root system to develop. Although the problem is most common in heavy clay soils, even light soils can become so compacted that it makes it difficult to have a beautiful lawn, especially if the lawn gets a lot of use.
The answer is liquid aeration
Fortunately, both thatch and soil compaction respond exceptionally well to our spring and fall liquid aeration biostimulant. These treatments are part of a process in which we use a special liquid biostimulant designed to penetrate the hard compacted soils while infusing more soil-building carbon that helps expand soil particles. It allows air to penetrate down into the root zone and also improves the flow of water and applied nutrients to the grassroots.

Like a breath of fresh air!
This new approach to lawn care goes a long way to improve lawns by targeting the “foundational” issue of plant health. In one form, lawns are a lot like people. They need several things to thrive, air, water, and nutrients. When something happens that interferes with the supply of these things, the lawn starts to decline. There are two natural lawn conditions that need to be managed: thatch and soil compaction.
What about food?
Feeding lawns has been up for debate for years. University studies have proven a lawn that has been correctly fed throughout the season will provide a cooling effect, reduce noise, provide oxygen, filter pollutants out of the air, provide erosion control on slopes and hold, YES HOLD nutrients in the soil where they belong. Not to mention the aesthetic value it provides by creating a relaxing environment that reduces stress. Runoff has been a hot topic in the last 15 years, and tests prove a properly fed healthy turf stand produces less runoff than a weak, weed infested lawn year after year!
The food applied that is part of our Build Program is NOT your typical synthetic lawn fertilizer. The organic-based fertilizer used, is produced with biochar infused with humates, sea kelp, and essential core macro and micronutrients. Microbes and humates assist in releasing locked up nutrients to the grass plants creating a far more robust soil and thicker lawn.
